More evidence that the authorities have 'lost' Mersey Street. This street is ONE-WAY and these two vehicles are illegally parked facing the wrong way. It was reported to the police but guess what? That's right didn't want to know. Word on the street is that a high ranking police officer has decreed that this location is a no-go area. The Law.

This photo is irrefutable evidence of the arrogance of the drivers of these vehicles. There is plenty of on street legal parking available here but no, they know that they are above the law so illegally obstruct the pedestrian highway without a thought for mum's with pushchairs and the disabled drivng electric wheelchairs. ... Chief Inspector Craig Thompson actually, has decreed this street, and Borron Street, a no-go area, right here in the creme de la creme of the illegal pavement parking capital of the UK. This photo cannot be beaten for sheer illegallity, aided and abetted by the police and council. Hey, that lamppost is bang out of order taking the place of an illegal parker. Imagine the price the council-tax payers will have to fork out for repairs to the pavements around here. It's scandalous.
